Filters & settings

CryptoFilter works out of the box with sensible defaults. But the real power is precision — set your bar once, and you only hear about tokens that match it. Open settings any time with /settings.

Think of it as hiring an analyst and telling them exactly what you care about. Everything that doesn't clear your bar stays silent.

The core filters

Minimum conviction tier

The headline filter. Only receive alerts at or above a tier:

Setting You'll see
GOLD only The rare, strongest signals. Low volume, high quality.
SILVER+ Solid signals and above. A balanced feed.
MONITOR+ Everything that clears basic checks. Higher volume.

Start at SILVER+ if you're not sure — it's the sweet spot between noise and missing things.

Liquidity & market cap floors

  • Minimum liquidity — ignore tokens with too little pooled liquidity to trade safely (thin liquidity = big slippage and easy rugs).
  • Minimum market cap — skip the dust if you only want tokens above a certain size.

Tax & rug tolerance

  • Maximum round-trip — auto-reject anything where the buy→sell simulation costs more than your limit. Set this low to avoid tax traps entirely.
  • Hide rugs — suppress anything flagged unsellable / honeypot. (Recommended: on.)
  • Hide copycats — suppress ticker-collision clones riding a real name.

Pulse sensitivity

How strong a momentum signal must be before Pulse fires. Higher = only the most decisive moves; lower = earlier but noisier.

Delivery

  • Private DM — alerts come straight to you.
  • Group / channel — add the bot to your own group and route alerts there (great for communities and small funds — see Pricing for group routing).
  • Pause / resume — mute with /pause, bring it back with /resume. Your filters are remembered.

A good starting setup

If you want one recommendation to begin with:

  • Tier floor: SILVER+
  • Hide rugs: on · Hide copycats: on
  • Max round-trip: a level you'd actually accept paying
  • Pulse sensitivity: medium

Then tighten toward GOLD as you learn what's worth your time.

Filters never hide the safety information — even on a token that clears your bar, CryptoFilter always shows the rug/honeypot verdict. Filters control what gets through, not how honest the card is.
